We are pleased to announce the latest joint CPTED conference of the Canadian and USA ICA Chapters, hosted in Calgary, Alberta. (Eligible for PIBC CPL units.) Register today, early bird specials end July 31st and space is limited.
This is a call to action for Canadian rural and urban municipalities, public agencies, community organizations, not-for-profits, planners, designers, police professionals, and all those committed to improving quality of life through design. Join us this October in Calgary to experience real-world applications of CPTED strategies that can be adapted for towns, villages, cities, regions, and organizations working to build safer, more welcoming, and more resilient communities.
Whether you represent a rural municipality, a large urban centre, an Indigenous community organization, a social service provider, a planning department, a business improvement area, a housing organization, or a community safety partner, this conference offers practical ideas and tools you can bring back to your community this fall. Attendees will have the opportunity to refresh their understanding of CPTED theory, explore practical implementation strategies, and learn from applied results and lessons shared by leading experts in the field.
After receiving more than 50 presentation submissions, the program has been finalized, and the conference selection is now available on the official conference website. The event is part of the 2026 joint conference hosted by CPTED-PCAM Canada and CPTED USA in Calgary.
