Ruta is a Director with the Altus Group Cost and Project Management team where she works with Owners and Lenders to assess and manage the financial feasibility, construction costs and financial risks of development projects across B.C. Ruta began her career in the U.K. graduating from Loughborough University with a B.Sc. in Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying.  Upon graduating, Ruta experienced life on construction sites working for a General Contractor building research facilities for the Pharmaceutical Industry.  After experiencing a few cold and wet winters in site huts, the consulting world beckoned, which led to a move to London (U.K.) working for Owners and Lenders mainly in the commercial and retail asset classes. Ruta relocated from London to Vancouver 15 years ago, and with a desire for a more rural life and a passion for horses, aided by the work from home phenomenon, she recently relocated to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.
