From land to labour and building materials, construction costs have been unstable in the past two years. What are the risks and how can we mitigate them?

Register now and hear from industry experts on where construction material and labour costs seem to be heading, major factors contributing to this outlook, and steps developers can take to manage their project costs moving forward.

Ruta began her career in the U.K. graduating from Loughborough University with a B.Sc. in Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying.  Upon graduating, Ruta experienced life on construction sites working for a General Contractor building research facilities for the Pharmaceutical Industry.  After experiencing a few cold and wet winters in site huts, the consulting world beckoned, which led to a move to London (U.K.) working for Owners and Lenders mainly in the commercial and retail asset classes. Ruta relocated from London to Vancouver 15 years ago, and with a desire for a more rural life and a passion for horses, aided by the work from home phenomenon, she recently relocated to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.
