PIBC and its Board of Directors are excited to share the updated Strategic Priorities for the current 2023-2025 year term. These were developed and finalized in the fall of 2023 and will guide the work of the Board and Institute over the current two-year term and beyond. The new strategic priorities include:

• Pursue Justice, Equity, Diversity, Decolonization and Inclusion;
• Enhance Value, Engagement and Recruitment; and
• Advance the Profession

Organized and summarized in an accessible, visual one-page summary, the new strategic plan also highlights PIBC's values and outlines an updated mission statement:
 

"The PIBC is a thriving organization, supporting professional planners to manage change in support of resilient, connected, inclusive and vibrant communities."
