The UBC School of Regional and Community Planning (SCARP)'s 14th annual student-led Symposium will take place from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at the AMS Student Nest at 6133 University Blvd., UBC Campus. 

The event theme is ‘Planning from the Heart’ and will focus on how to incorporate compassion, empathy, and intersectionality into planning, and discuss how emotion, hope, creativity, and imagination can aid in the work that we do. Recognizing that the world we live in is becoming increasingly polarized, we hope to discuss how to plan across divides and connect across differences.
