The City of Nelson is seeking applicants for the Permanent Senior Planner position that is currently open. This leadership opportunity provides strategic guidance that will ultimately result in the successful delivery of projects that enhance Nelson and foster a resilient and sustainable community.  

Are you a highly skilled professional in development planning and policy writing, with a knack for creative problem-solving and building positive relationships? The City of Nelson is looking for someone just like you! We seek a dynamic individual with a university degree or Master's in Planning or a related discipline, coupled with at least five years of progressively responsible experience in planning. Membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Institute of Planners is also required. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise to support and build our vibrant community, ensuring resilient and sustainable development.
