World Town Planning Day Event: Mind Mapping the Challenges and Opportunities Presented by COVID-19 for the Planning Profession

Join the PIBC South Coast Chapter in mind mapping the challenges and opportunities COVID-19 presents to the planning profession. This initiative will give participants the chance to use the Miro engagement software to contribute to a live and evolving virtual mind map over a week-long period.

The goals of the initiative are to better understand how COVID-19 is affecting the profession and to introduce planners to an online engagement tool that could be beneficial to their work.

The initiative will kick off with a Webinar on Nov. 2 where participants will be introduced to the Miro software and given the opportunity to contribute to the map together with members of the PIBC South Coast Chapter Executive. The webinar is optional and registrants are free to contribute on their own time from Nov 2 – 6.

Free Webinar (optional): 12:00 – 1:00pm, Nov. 2, 2020

Contribute to the map: Nov 2 – 6, 2020

The final mind map will be shared to participants at the end of the week-long contribution period.

Please email southcoast@pibc.bc.ca to receive the link to the mind map and to register for the webinar.
