Transportation involves the myriad multimodal ways in which goods and people move. How and why are some modes chosen over others and who gets to decide?

Format: Online-supported remote delivery

Designed for professionals or community members who want to understand the role of transportation in urban planning, this course provides an accessible overview of transportation planning. You’ll explore the planning process, governance in Metro Vancouver and beyond, and best practices in planning and design for transit, active transportation, driving and parking, goods movement, and new mobility.
