Join us on February 12 for this special session to learn about the key findings of PIBC's Professional Governance Research & Engagement Project and the next round of engagement. This session will be moderated by Deborah Jensen RPP, MCIP, Chair of PIBC's RPP Regulation Sub-Committee, with opening remarks from PIBC President, Kenna Jonkman RPP, MCIP.

Bradley Chisholm, JD, BA, CEC
The Regular's Practice
Bradley is the Founder and Principal of The Regulator’s Practice. For the last decade Bradley has worked with professional regulators across Canada as both a consultant and an executive leader. Most recently Bradley served as the Chief Officer, Strategy and Governance for the newly formed BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), leading two regulatory amalgamations, building a modern governance framework from the ground up, and providing governance advice to regulatory leaders and boards across the country.
In 2021 Bradley was named the Governance Professionals of Canada’s Governance Professional of the Year for his work influencing and supporting modern, inclusive and effective regulatory governance modernization within Canada.

Katya Masnyk
The Regular's Practice
Katya is an experienced regulator, executive leader, and researcher with over 20 years’ experience in professional regulation across both health and non-health professions. Most recently, Katya served as the Director of Policy, Engagement and Strategic Implementation at the Ontario College of Pharmacists where she led strategic initiatives aligned with regulatory best practices, including policy modernization, data-driven decision-making, and cross-departmental collaboration. In this role, Katya was also responsible for the development and implementation of two of four OCP strategic goals, including Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and supported the Board’s governance review while monitoring initiatives of the current strategic plan. Previously, Katya served as CEO of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (2011-2022) where she led two governance reviews and two strategic planning initiatives.
As an independent research, policy and planning consultant, Katya has worked with regulators across Canada with a range of regulatory and legislative frameworks.
