Call for Program Proposals Now Closed!

Join us! In anticipation of this great event, we were pleased to invite interested proponents to submit their proposal for inclusion in the program for the PIBC 2018 Annual Conference - The Game Plan. Sustainability, Reconciliation, Facilitation, Collaboration, Partnership, Strategy...these are just some of the themes that impact the practice of planning and the planning profession today. So how do we weave them all together? How do we sharpen our knowledge and skills, and develop a 'game plan'?

Program Proposal Submissions now Closed! Proponents wishing to be considered for the conference program were asked to submit their proposals for conference sessions, workshops, or mobile workshops online through our online proposal submission portal. Key information they needed to successfully complete a submission included:

- Names, contact, and biographic details for the proposal presenters;

- The type of program element proposed (e.g. session, workshop, mobile workshop, etc.);

- A proposed title for the proposed program element;

- A concise description of the proposed program element;

- Information about the proposed learning outcomes; and

- A brief explanation of how the proposed element would fit with the conference vision.

Submission deadline for #PIBC2018 program proposals: Friday, November 3, 2017. The conference program team is scheduled to get back to proponents with final decisions by Friday, December 15, 2017.
