The Regional District of Fraser Fort George invites qualified applicants to apply for the full-time position of Planner II located at the Regional District Fraser Fort George office in Prince George, B.C. 

The RDFFG supports a positive work-life balance for our employees! This is a union position (CUPE Local 1699) which offers a competitive wage and benefits package as per the Collective Agreement, including 15 days annual vacation, Municipal Pension Plan, and extended benefit premiums paid fully by the employer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
•    An undergraduate degree in Community Planning (Urban, Regional, etc.)  accredited by the Canadian Institute of Planners, plus at least one year of related work experience, OR

An undergraduate degree in a subject related to planning (e.g. Geography) and a minimum of two years of work experience in a similar planning position.

•  Meets eligibility requirements to be a member of the Planning Institute of British Columbia.
•   Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
•   Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

WAGE: The terms of this position include a wage range of $34.95 - $38.23 per hour (January 1, 2021 rate). A standard probation period will apply as per the Collective Agreement.
