The Manitoba Planning Conference is an annual event to:

- Provide an opportunity for all stakeholders involved in planning (elected officials, planning professional, academics, and the public) to share best planning practices and learn about new and emerging trends in planning.
Conference Theme
Envisioning Manitoba: Building Futures Together
Where do we want to be in 20 or 30 years? Today’s planning challenges cross natural, economic, social and cultural boundaries. How can we embrace diversity and move forward with respect, trust and cooperation to achieve common goals? Through planning, we can bridge gaps between communities and adapt to meet the current and future needs of Manitoba’s diverse population.
At this conference, participants will expand networks and gain new knowledge and insight by exploring Relationship Building, Visioning and Practical Tools. This conference has been held annually since 2000 and is unique in Canada as delegates include planners, academics and students, and municipal councillors and staff.
The deadline for submissions is 4:00 PM (Central Standard Time), FRIDAY, JANUARY 15, 2016
