Strengthening Farming 101
Presentation and Panel Discussion for Central and Northern British Columbia Land Use Planners
 
Local government land use planners from central and northern British Columbia are invited to join Ministry of Agriculture agrologists, planners and Agricultural Land Commission staff on November 23rd, 2015 from 10 am —12 noon for a webinar presentation and panel discussion on strengthening farming in northern BC regions.

Highlights will include:
- Agri-tourism
- Edge Planning
- Agricultural Land Use Inventories
- Bylaw Standards for Medical Marihuana Production Facilities

Planners are encouraged to bring their questions pertaining to agriculture, such as best practices in bylaw development in farming areas; agri-tourism; farm worker housing; and, edge planning.
