2017 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC) was held as follo ws:

Location:  Auditorium, Prince George Civic Centre, 808 Canada Games Way, Prince George, BC Information and documents related to the AGM are available below. Copies were also made available at the meeting.

Special Resolution - Amendments to Bylaws:

A Special Resolution amending the Bylaws of the Institute was considered and approved at the AGM. The bylaw amendments updated some aspects of the Institute’s governance, changed certain terminology within the bylaws, and revised the title of the Institute's Professional Practice Review Committee.

2016-17 Annual Report & Financial Statements:

The 2016-17 Annual Report is now available, and was presented at the 2017 Annual General Meeting, along with the 2016 Audited Financial Statements.

In accordance with the bylaws of the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC), the Institute held elections for positions on the PIBC Board of Directors (formerly Council) for the 2017-2019 two-year term, in conjunction with the 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

We are pleased to report that the following individuals have acceded or were otherwise declared elected to the Board for the 2017-2019 term at the AGM:

*Notes: In accordance with the Institute’s bylaws, former President-Elect Andrew Ramlo MCIP, RPP automatically became President for the 2017-2019 Board term. Lesley Cabott MCIP, RPP was, being the only candidate nominated, declared elected by acclamation as President-Elect for the 2017-2019 Board term.
