The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is located in the southern interior of British Columbia. The RDKB’s main administration office is located in Trail, while its satellite office is located in Grand Forks. The area is known for its downhill and cross-country skiing; mountain biking; and summer recreation activities on Christina Lake, the warmest tree-lined lake in British Columbia.

Our Planning and Development Department is currently seeking a:
Watershed Planner
(Permanent Full-Time)
The position of Watershed Planner is primarily responsible for the implementation of the goals and actions in the Kettle River Watershed Management Plan. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree ingeography, environmental science, biology, land use planning or a relateddiscipline. The candidate should also have a minimum of two years experience in a water stewardship or similar position, preferably with a local government.

The successful candidate will be subject to the CUPE Local 2254 Collective Agreement and will work out of the RDKB’s Grand Forks Administration office.
