We are delighted to announce the new dates for the Community Heritage Fundamentals for BC Practitioners (CLST075) online course that Heritage BC has developed in partnership with Royal Roads University. (May 19 - July 12, 2026).
The course is designed to equip participants with essential skills, legislative insights, and Indigenous collaboration strategies that help preserve and advocate for heritage in communities across BC. This course is eligible for PIBC CPL units.
With a focus on case studies and meaningful discussions with fellow heritage practitioners, participants will gain insights into the application of heritage tools at a community level, explore how to incorporate heritage values in community planning, and develop strategies for finding common ground around heritage with others in communities.
