How you'll make a difference:
- Project management of large and complex projects.
- Lead both broad and deep engagement on several plans, urban designs, policies, and strategies for both public and private sector clients.
- Contribute to all aspects of our planning and urban design practice, from early analysis and visioning, to the creation of conceptual and policy directions, and recommendations to implement and realize a diversity of great, complex, urban environments.
- Work collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team of people.
- Participate in a broad range of projects: from site specific planning to area wide policy reviews and master plans.
- Lead compelling presentations at municipal and public meetings.

Required skills and qualifications:
- A graduate of an undergraduate or graduate-level program in urban planning, urban studies, urban geography or similar.
- Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in urban planning, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Possess related experience, including educational, volunteer, and professional; ideally a combination of all three.
- Experience analyzing, updating, and developing policy for both Institutional and Municipal clients. This should include Campus Master Plans, Neighbourhood Plans, and Official Community Plans.
- Experience developing Design Guidelines.
- High degree of proficiency using InDesign and Adobe Suite.
- Experience directing and coordinating subconsultants.
- Experience with project management and maintaining exceptional client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in creative, innovative, and accessible engagement.
- Experience engaging with underrepresented voices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to present to clients and at municipal and public meetings.
Outstanding if you have these, but not required:
- IAP2, GBA+ and other professional training and certifications.
- Graphic Design experience.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, and ArcGIS.
- Eligibility for MCIP.
$77,000 - $105,000 a year.

- Maintain exceptional client relationships.

- Experience engaging with underrepresented voices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to present to clients and at municipal and public meetings.
Outstanding if you have these, but not required:
