Development Models for Wind Energy
The development model for Ontario's wind power has given rise to significant anti-wind demonstrations, and been widely considered toxic for rural communities. Opposition to wind developments has become a significant political issue, and currently new wind development permits are suspended. Across the Atlantic, wind development models have sparked the opposite reaction, with communities collaborating to attract wind energy.
