Explore the complex, layered and sometimes messy relationships that characterize urban ecologies through drawing, photography and field notes. Using the City of Victoria as a laboratory, over five days, you will explore the ecological and social relations between multi-species inhabitants and the physical environment.
Drawing from landscape and urban ecology, landscape architecture, and ecological design, you will learn to use visual techniques to decipher and represent urban systems, reflect diverse knowledges, and interpret complex dynamics to envision, enable and enrich urban ecological futures.
