Planning & Food Systems - Lunch and Learn on May 22

BC Planning Inter-School Student Lunch and Learn Series

PIBC's Academic Liaison Sub-Committee is moving forward with a series of virtual lunch-and-learn workshops highlighting student planning research and projects. The aim of these workshops is to share current research, ideas, and questions in a collaborative space amongst the next generation of planners (aka – students) – especially to build relationships between those with similar interests and areas of research.

SFU hosted the first in this series in April on climate change planning with representatives of several planning schools – it was a great event!

The second workshop of the series focuses on food systems and will be hosted by VIU MCP online on:

Invitation to present - May 14

If you are doing work on food systems and would like to share your research or projects in a 5-10-minute presentation with other like-minded students, please send a project title and a short description (~150 words) to Mark Holland at Mark.Holland@viu.ca by 5 pm PT on Tuesday, May 14th.
