Join us for this FREE walking tour of Victoria's Chinatown. Led by Senior Planner/Urban Designer Miko Betanzo (City of Victoria) and Senior Planner Jeff Chow (Town of View Royal), this walking tour will showcase one of Victoria's most distinctive neighbourhoods within the city's diverse urban fabric. Participants will learn about:

• History of cultural enclaves and Chinatown
• Key heritage and urban design aspects
• Elements of success for resiliency and vibrancy
• What the future may hold for this and other cultural enclaves

We also invite you to join us for a planning social (after the tour) at the Herald Street Brewery (506 Herald Street) at 4:30 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend the social, whether they participate in the walking tour or not.
