Led by urban designer Michael von Hausen RPP, FCIP, this event on October 20 focuses on the new Amazing Brentwood site in Burnaby, specifically unpacking the vision, frameworks, tactics and talent that took the project from ideation to execution. It's our hope that this event, much like the first, will inspire folks to reimagine the public realm for the better.

As with our first event (occurring on Sep 29), we would love to extend a warm invitation to PIBC members. The event is free and we will provide all attendees with a free digital download of Michael von Hausen's new book, Public Realm: The New Makers Handbook. 

The lecture will be moderated by Gordon Price, and will feature the following panelists:
- Darren Kwiatkowski, Executive Vice-President, SHAPE Properties
- Andy Yan RPP, MCIP, Director, SFU City Program
- Jennifer Stamp, Principal, Groundswell Landscape Architects
- Derek Lee, Principal, PWL Partnership Landscape Architects

The Mayor of Burnaby will provide some introductory remarks.
