Local governments are required to address many servicing and infrastructure considerations when allowing for increased residential density, in accordance with the Province’s new housing legislation. This webinar will include a brief overview of common servicing and infrastructure questions, including approaches to incorporating green infrastructure. Participants will then have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the speakers.

Director of Public Works and Utilities, District of Lillooet
Kam So is an Professional Engineer and is currently working as the Director of Public Works and Utilities for the District of Lillooet. In his role, he is responsible for day to day operations of the Public Works Department and delivering municipal assets for the residents of Lillooet.
Nick Mead-Fox
Senior Engineer, City of Vancouver
Nick Mead-Fox is a Senior Engineer with the Green Infrastructure (GI) Implementation Branch at the City of Vancouver. He is also the founder and co-chair of the BCWWA Green Infrastructure Community of Practice, which aims to share GI best practices with professionals around the province and accelerate Green Infrastructure implementation through standardization, modelling, and advocacy. He has led the effort to create standards for GI implementation on City Streets in Vancouver and continues to work towards dismantling barriers that limit the extent of GI implementation in the City.
