Sa̱nala Planning is excited to present a summer webinar series, led by CEO Jessie Hemphill and Senior Planner Dana Moraes. Jessie and Dana draw on decades of experience and condense it into two-hour virtual sessions on proposal writing, pre-contact Indigenous planning, Planning for Joy, Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) 101, community engagement, and plan implementation.
These webinars are ideal bite-size professional development for Indigenous and non-Indigenous planners, planning students, and any community member engaged in bringing about self-determination for their people.
Community Engagement
In this webinar, presenters Dana and Jessie will draw on decades of experience designing and facilitating community engagement processes for First Nations and others. We will talk about developing a holistic approach to community engagement, putting together a community engagement strategy, and share resources for learning more about communications, community engagement and facilitation. This webinar is designed for planners working in First Nations communities, though many learnings will apply to other communities as well.
