It feels like summer and that means festival season is soon, including our favourite Carnaval del Sol! The arts, cultural & music festival brings passion, energy and favours of Latin America to the streets of Vancouver.FOOD ★ FUN ★ CULTURE ★ FIESTAIn Latin American people enjoy gathering in the local “plaza” to soak up the daily happenings. We hope to recreate this experience in Vancouver. Some of the scheduled events include locally and nationally renowned Latin musical artists, folk dance troupes, a marketplace that displays the work of Latin American artisans and childrens' games. As soccer is an important activity in Latin America that brings communities together, a traditional multicultural street soccer tournament is another highlight of the Carnaval Del Sol. Also, our Latin American plaza includes an open-air food court that offers authentic Latin cuisine that is sure to attract the appetite of many Vancouverites
