The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) is North America’s leading professional organization providing expertise in active and sustainable transportation. One of APBP’s key initiatives is the establishment of local and regional chapters to create more local-level opportunities to bring together active transportation professionals. APBP recently launched the association’s first North American local chapter for British Columbia.
APBP recently launched the association’s first North American local chapter for British Columbia. The newly launched APBP-BC Local Chapter will be hosting their first social event in a few weeks. This informal evening is a great opportunity to network with other active transportation professionals from across BC. Whether you are interested in becoming a member of the APBP-BC Chapter or would simply like to learn more, we welcome you to join us on Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 6pm onwards at the Elephant & Castle Pub & Restaurant. For those of you who have not been to the Elephant and Castle, it is a great venue in downtown Vancouver’s historic Marine Building. So come down for a drink or two, some tasty bites, and above all, great conversation.
