PIBC 2019 Awards Call For Submissions & Nominations - Now Open!

Help us recognize the best in planning in BC and the Yukon! The call for award submissions & nominations for the PIBC 2019 Awards program is now open!

Members can make submissions for either the Awards for Excellence in Planning or Awards for Individual Achievement.

Don't miss this opportunity for your professional planning work and the achievements of your colleagues to receive recognition!

The PIBC Awards program works to recognize and reflect the diverse range of excellent planning work undertaken across British Columbia and the Yukon, and to recognize the overall contributions & achievements of outstanding individual members - including young and new members of the profession.

The PIBC 2019 Awards fall under two main award types:

Awards for Excellence in Planning (5 categories)
  • Research & New Directions in Planning
  • Excellence in Policy Planning (Small Town & Rural Areas, AND City & Urban Areas)
  • Excellence in Planning Practice (Small Town & Rural Areas, AND City & Urban Areas)
Awards for Individual Achievement (3 categories)
  • Distinguished Professional Contribution
  • Leadership in Advocacy & Innovation
  • Young Professional Leadership
Deadline for Submissions & Nominations:
  • 4:00 pm (Pacific) on Monday, February 11, 2019.
Important Submission Information:
Beginning this year, all submissions and nominations for awards are being received online only. Prospective submitters are strongly encouraged to carefully review the complete Call for Submission documents and be sure to have their appropriate submission documents ready before making their online submission.
