Our brand is built on managing our resources in a responsible and sustainable manner while supporting a vibrant, growing regional urban centre.

We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join our Parks, Recreation & Culture team in the planning and development of Coquitlam’s parks, trails, and natural area. This role involves acting as the City’s representative on a variety of strategic parks-related initiatives including geographic distribution, park programming, accessibility, environmental protection and sustainable development of park assets.

You have considerable understanding of park, recreation, and culture needs and have eligibility in the BC Society of Landscape Architects and/or eligibility for full membership in the Planning Institute of BC.

You’ve worked in professional teams under tight deadlines and are able to skillfully navigate the land-use planning and park design processes.
