PIBC South Coast Chapter is hosting a panel discussion on New Street Standards for Town Centres, featuring the Cities of Surrey and Burnaby, among others.

Panelists will highlight some of the most recent work done on streetscapes, complete streets and public spaces. Learn about how planners can (and need to!) work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments (including engineering, parks, transportation, operations, utilities) to realize great complete streets, and the trade-offs between encountered in balancing urban design, active transportation, injury reduction and utility servicing objectives.
