Annual Update on Contaminated Site Regime in British Columbia
June 9th at Downtown Vancouver, BC

The Contaminated Sites Regulation is a work in progress – this year has seen a multitude of recent, pending and contemplated changes to schedules, guidance and protocols.

For the first time in almost two decades, the province is carrying out “omnibus” changes to CSR standards, updating both its list and concentrations of scheduled substances in soil, groundwater and soil vapour.  Prepare now for the changes ahead!

GeoEnviroPro is pleased to once again present its annual CSR Update seminar in downtown Vancouver.  This popular seminar brings together provincial, technical, and industry experts to present and discuss the changes and critical issues in a one-day format.

Topics covered include:

- An update from the province on the omnibus standards;
- Changes in direction on groundwater policy and implications for the CSR;
- Recent and pending changes to several guidance documents and protocols including groundwater remediation requirements, soil vapour, and communications;
- Monitored natural attenuation (MNA), including draft new guidance and case studies;
- Industry and legal perspectives and experience; and
- An update on federal guidance for MNA, Site Characterization, and ERA

Don’t miss out! If you deal with contaminated sites as a regulator, consultant or property owner, you need to be aware of these evolving requirements and expectations.
