Northwest Planning Pro-D Event - Does A Vibrant Downtown Matter?
April 26th - 27th 2018
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM PST

The City of Prince Rupert Planning Department is organizing a Northwest Planning Pro-D Event on Thursday, April 26 (from 2pm – 5pm) & Friday, April 27 (from 9:00am – 3:30pm).

The topic for the event is: Does a vibrant downtown matter?

In brief, the event includes a panel discussion on Thursday afternoon. The main workshop event is on Friday, and includes: Mayor’s welcome, a presentation from Urban Systems Land Economist David Bell MCIP, RPP, and a bus tour of the City.

Prince Rupert can be wonderful this time of year, or for those farther afield for whom same-day travel is a hardship, we encourage you to come for both days – however you are also welcome to come for either day! Planner participants will earn 3 CPL units for Thursday and 6.5 CPL units for Friday.

What makes this event more worthwhile to attend? It's FREE! There are no registration fees to attend, but participants are responsible for their own traval, accommodations and other expenses.

Please RSVP by Thursday April 12th to Theresa Lorello, Planning Clerk, by email at theresa.lorello@princerupert.ca or by telephone at 250-627-0996.
