An Afternoon of Learning and Mingling
March 8th 2018

PIBC’s Central-North Chapter is offering an afternoon of learning and mingling on March 8th, 2018.  The event coincides with the PIBC Board meeting held at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) campus on March 9th.  This FREE event is being offered thanks to a generous sponsorship from Lidstone & Company. The afternoon will involve a legal session with Don Lidstone of Lidstone & Company, mock interviews with the UNBC Student Planners Association and an opportunity to dine with your northern colleagues that you don’t get to see every day!

Don Lidstone, Partner, Lidstone & Company, Vancouver B.C.

Don has practiced generally in the area of municipal law since 1980, and served on the Province’s 1985 Planning Act Review Committee that created most of the content of the current Part 14 of the Local Government Act. His municipal law focus is in the areas of governance, bylaws, land use, aboriginal and environmental law. Don has published numerous papers and manuals and consulted on the development of the British Columbia Community Charter and other municipal statutes. He was designated Queen’s Counsel in 2008.
