The City of Prince Rupert Planning Department is organizing a Northwest Planning Pro-D Event on Thursday, April 26 (from 2pm – 5pm) & Friday, April 27 (from 9:00am – 3:30pm).

The topic for the event is: Does a vibrant downtown matter?  

In brief, the event includes a panel discussion on Thursday afternoon. The main workshop event is on Friday, and includes: Mayor’s welcome, a presentation from Urban Systems Land Economist David Bell MCIP, RPP, and a bus tour of the City.

This accommodations facility is a full service housing facility to support major industrial development in Kitimat and is primarily intended for contractors and workers that will be required for construction of proposed LNG facilities.
