PIBC Annual Student Conference Funding

The PIBC Annual Student Conference Funding provides financial support or subsidies to support Student members’ attendance at the PIBC Annual Conference each year. 

Applications are now closed for the 2017 PIBC Annual Student Conference Funding. The 2017 application deadline was Monday, May 22, 2017.

Funding for SFU students has now been fully dispersed, but opportunities are still available for UBC and UNBC students.

PIBC Annual Student Fellowship Award

The PIBC Annual Student Fellowship Award provides funding to support Student members’ attendance at and participation in the PIBC’s Annual Conference, in order that they may present their academic work to professional colleagues and conference attendees as part of the program of the Annual Conference.

PIBC Annual CAPS Conference Funding

The PIBC Annual Canadian Association of Planning Students (CAPS) Conference Funding provides financial support or subsidies to support Student members’ attendance at and participation in the Canadian Association of Planning Students (CAPS) Annual Conference each year. Here you will find details about the criteria and application process for this annual funding opportunity. The call for applications for the 2016 PIBC Annual CAPS Conference Funding is now closed.

Student Awards & Funding

In recognition of the work of Student members and their contribution as future planning professionals PIBC supports a range of awards and funding opportunities for Student members. As part of the Institute’s ongoing commitment to nurturing excellence in future professional planners, and to supporting Student members, PIBC has established specific awards and financial support mechanisms for Student members in good standing enrolled at Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) Recognized Planning Schools and / or Programs in British Columbia and the Yukon
