The City of Surrey presents a full-spectrum view of the many players involved in producing food including: farmers, producers, processors, government regulators and financiers. The focus for 2016's Forum is the Dairy Industry. Q & A opportunities will be provided to allow participants to engage with presenters.

This is a practical course on writing reports.

Many council reports are standardized; staff are able to refer to past examples and municipal formats. By contrast, policy reports are frequently "one-offs." This course focuses on these policy reports. It addresses the challenges of assembling strategic directions, incorporating public input, conveying options and framing recommendations.

Traditionally, there has been a significant gap between financial analysts and urban designers. This course helps close this gap by introducing the important relationships between economics and urban design.
