About the conference Heart of the City will gather a unique cross-section of city park enthusiasts from across Canada, including community and non-profit group leaders, government staff, funders and park professionals. Join us in Montreal for three days of sharing, collaborating and relationship building hosted by Park People, an independent charity that supports and mobilizes people to help them activate the power of parks to improve quality of life in cities across Canada. Registration will open in the new year.

Day 1 of 2019 Value of Biogas West will begin with a half-day Biogas Operator’s Forum. Hear first-hand what it is like to operate a biogas plant from actual biogas plant owners. In the afternoon attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Surrey Biofuel Facility in Surrey, or Fraser Valley Biogas in Abbotsford.

Day 2 will consist of a full program, including sessions on biogas/RNG challenges and opportunities, innovations and developments, case studies, research and development, digestate management and more.See attached for full agenda.
