PIBC offers the opportunity for educational providers, professional organizations, and other organizations to submit and post events and activities of interest and relevance to professional planners on our website, in our calendar of events. In addition, new events are regularly highlighted in our regular email newsletter to members. Check below for more details.

PIBC Continuing Professional Development – CPD

PIBC Members are required to undertake and report a minimum amount of ongoing professional development, training and education to maintain their professional status under the Institute’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system. Where applicable PIBC CPD credits, or Learning Units, will be assessed and assigned to relevant events submitted.

Posting an Event

This service provides the opportunity for your single event or activity listing (for any period up to the date of your event) to reach over 1,300 professional planners and associates throughout BC and the Yukon.

The event advertising service includes one event advertisement on our website, and a summary notice of your event in our email newsletter to members. This includes assessing and assigning PIBC CPD Learning Units for the event where applicable.

Event Advertisement Costs:

• Regular Event Posting: No Charge
  
• Non-Profit / Charity Event Posting: No Charge
  

Continuing Professional Development Providers

If your organization regularly hosts or delivers many professional development, training or educational events relevant to professional planners, you can have your event assessed and assigned PIBC CPD Learning Units.
