PIBC Classified Ads are purchased based on the amount of time that they are posted. Please review the costs below to decide how long much you are willing to pay.

Jobs & Opportunities Available

Our Jobs & Opportunities Available job posting and advertising service provides a complete package which can distribute your one page advertisement to over 800 professional planners throughout BC and the Yukon via: Our fax distribution list; Our website; and a summary notice in our regular Email bulletin. There are several options available in the following categories:

Job Opportunity Posting - One 30 day posting on our website & a notice in our email bulletin - The cost is $575 (plus GST).

 Your ad can also be posted for an additional 30 days (60 days total) - The cost is an additional $275 (plus GST).

Your ad can also be faxed to our 500+ member fax list, in addition to being posted to our website and email bulletin – The cost is an additional $100 (plus GST).

Please note: There is no charge for postings of short-term positions which are specifically summer student, Co-Op and other similar student job opportunities.

Jobs & Opportunities Wanted

Our Jobs & Opportunities Wanted advertising service allows PIBC Members in any membership class to post their up to two-page resume online at no charge.

Resume Posting - Up to two-page resume posting on our website for those seeking employment opportunities. No charge for PIBC members. Sorry this service is not available for non-members.

Job Exchange Opportunities

Our Job Exchange Opportunities advertising service allows any member or organization to post their two-page notice regarding interest or information about potential job exchanges online at no charge.

Info Notices

Our Info Notices service allows any member or organization to post their 150 word non-commercial notice regarding public events, activities and happenings of interest to planners and the planning profession on our website and in our regular email bulletin, at no charge. Subject to space and time limitations. Commercial advertising should be obtained through the Jobs & Opportunities Available option above.

Submission Process

 We require confirmation (by way of email or filling out the online form) of your desire to go ahead with the posting, an electronic copy of the posting in MS Word document format - preferably with limited graphics, and a contact name and mailing address for invoicing or record keeping purposes.

As soon as we receive the confirmation and posting, we will begin distributing the posting. The entire distribution process can take up to 3 or 4 days, depending on our volume at the time.

Also note that all postings and content are subject to review. PIBC reserves the right to reject any submission. PIBC accepts no responsibility for errors in content, layout or format that result from errors in the original submission.
